Dear Parents and Guardians,
I would like you to be among the first to know this will be my final year as Principal at Monteleone Jr. High. While I am very excited to be working for the National Institute of School Leadership in Washington D.C., as it’s Louisiana Programs Coordinator, it is with a heavy heart that I leave my home here of ten years. It has been a sincere pleasure to work with all of the associated stakeholders of this fine school. I will miss those adolescents who can be both heart wrenching and heartwarming in a given moment in time. They are why we are educators and the reason we attempt to give our very best each and every day. I have been blessed to meet wonderful parents and peers along my journey whom I now consider friends. Lastly, to be truly successful, a school must pride itself in its faculty and staff and this school has the best. Our traditions and beliefs are strongly ingrained in our work everyday and with that being said, I know that I will be proud of Monteleone for many, many years to come. If I can ever assist you in any way, I will still be living in Louisiana and welcome you to contact me. Thank you for entrusting your child to our care. I hope we have managed to make a positive difference in the life of your Marlin.
