Ms. Blalock graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Elementary Education (grades K-8).  She is one of the sponsors of the award winning Darlin Marlins dance team here at LMJH.   In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, watching movies, listening to music, and taking trips to the beach to relax!
7th grade ELA

Mrs. Deano is a graduate of Louisiana State University where she received a degree in Elementary Education (grades 1-8). Mrs. Deano has 10 years of teaching experience and this will be her first year at Monteleone where she will teach7th grade ELA and Science. When not at school Mrs. Deano enjoys, cooking, reading, bike riding, and spending time with her husband and three sons.

Ms. Fomby  is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a BA degree in history and English. She completed the Master’s of Education program and is certified to teach English, social studies, and ESL. Currently, she is teaching 7th grade ELA. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Ms. Gunter is an Auburn University graduate with a degree in Secondary English Education. She has taught for over 20 years and has covered each grade from 7th -12th.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and watching Auburn Football. War Eagle!

8th grade ELA
Ms. McCray is a graduate of 
Louisiana State University 
and is currently in her 5th year of teaching. 
She has taught 8th  grade English her entire 
career, and she loves being able to share her 
love of writing and reading with her 
students. In her spare time she
 enjoys Crossfit, online shopping, spending
time with friends and family, and 
watching sports. She is also the 
LMJ Cheerleading Coach.
8th Grade ELA



Dr. Santostefano attended Northeast Louisiana University (now University of Louisiana at Monroe) for her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.  She received her master’s from Southern Arkansas University in Educational Leadership.  In 2013, Dr. Santostefano completed her Educational Doctorate, also in Educational Leadership, at the University of Central Florida.  She has taught in Louisiana, Arkansas and Florida in her 22 years in Education. During her free time she loves spending time with family and playing with her 7 dogs.
