Ms. Drake attended the University of New Orleans for her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education as well as her masters in Gifted and Special Education. She is currently teaching 7th and 8th grade gifted science and math as well as the Project Lead The Way "Gateway to Technology" elective.

Ms. Golden attended Northeast LA University where she received a Bachelors Degree in K-8. She enjoys reading and traveling. She is a track coach and sponsors student council and the Beta club.

Mrs. Jessica Miller has studied the flute for 13 years and was classically trained in instruction on orchestration, jazz, and the wind ensemble.  She received her Bachelor's Degree In Music Education from Southeastern Louisiana University, where she was nominated the Outstanding Student Teacher of the Year and awarded Outstanding Student In Music Education 2010.  This will be the beginning of her seventh year teaching in St. Tammany Public School System including the following schools:  Folsom Elementary , Abney Elementary , Bayou Lacombe Middle , L.P. Monteleone Junior High, and Madisonville Junior High.  Her husband, JD, and sweet dog, Jada love to play with her new baby boy Micah, who was just born last year.  She includes every aspect of music at home as well as at school and loves to share how beautiful music making can truly be.

 
 
 

 

 
I have 34 years of experience in teaching music and in teaching elementary education in various locations in both Louisiana and Mississippi.  I enjoy playing the piano for my church.
My hobbies include refurbishing and refinishing furniture, mosaic tile work, and sewing.
Kids keep me young, that's why I enjoy teaching.  I love to share in their success in music.

Mrs. Reis teaches 8th grade ELA and both 7th and 8th grade Math. She is also teaching a Leap class for both 7th and 8th. Mrs. Reis is a graduate of SLU. She has been teaching for 17 years and has been at Monteleone since it opened. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her 5 active grandchildren at the beach, the zoo, or the park. She also enjoys outdoor concerts, family gatherings,  driving and reading.

Mrs. Scioneaux graduated from UNO with a BA in Psychology.  She had built a career in corporate America until a life-altering epiphany in 2009 changed her path for “one of the most challenging and rewarding things I’ve done in my life!”  Since that time she has returned to SLU for her Alternative Certification and began teaching Family and Consumer Science (a.k.a. Home Economics) here at Monteleone in 2010.  In her free time, Mrs. Scioneaux enjoys spending time with family and friends, interior decorating, cooking, sewing, and playing with her two dogs.
