ATTENTION PARENTS OF 8TH GRADERS:
All 8th graders will take the EXPLORE test during the week of
September 21st - 25th.
‘Why Take Explore?’ booklets will be given to all 8th graders closer to the test date. I encourage parents to review this booklet with your child to help prepare for the test.
Taking the EXPLORE is a great way to get a head start on the ACT (test taken by 11th and 12th graders for admission to college).
EXPLORE includes 4 tests: English, math, reading, and science
- - - as well as a career section that shows which careers match your interests
EXPLORE is a timed test, so students should pace themselves.
There is no penalty for guessing on EXPLORE. Students should be sure to answer every question.
