Mr. Camus graduated from SLU in elementary education and has been teaching for 17 years.  He coaches football, basketball, and track.  His hobbies include watching LSU and Saints football, spending time with friends and family, and of course fishing.  Mr. Camus is teaching Louisiana history and P.E. this year.

8th Social Studies and PE

Mrs. DeSanti has been teaching for 40 years in all grade levels (K-). She graduated from Central Michigan University and earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from UNO.  She earned the Reading Specialist certification from UNO and Gifted Certification from SLU. Mrs. DeSanti has taught in a range of public and private schools from rural Michigan to New Orleans. After moving to Mandeville, she served as a parent volunteer and PTA board member in St. Tammany Parish while her two children completed their schooling. Mrs. DeSanti enjoys traveling, has a passion for learning, and is always willing to try something new.


Ms. Golden attended Northeast LA University where she received a Bachelors Degree in K-8. She received her Masters in Educational Leadership from Southeastern. She enjoys reading, traveling, scuba diving, riding  her motorcycle, and  spending time with her  family. Mrs. Golden coaches Girls Soccer  and sponsors  the Beta club.


This is my fourth year teaching at Monteleone, and I am so happy to be apart of the Marlin team!  I am a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University, where I earned a B.A. in Social Studies, Secondary Education 6-12.  In my spare time, I love to travel, read, and spend quality time with my friends and family.

7th and 8th Grade Social Studies

Mrs. Tyler received her Bachelors degree and Masters degree from LSU.  She is currently teaching 8th grade Social Studies and the elective "Journey to Careers".  Mrs. Tyler enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
